WILD PORTRAITS Emotions in animals

The intention of this series is to connect with the animals, to feel their pain, joy, despair, simply with their look and their expressions. What I am looking for is to be able to make animals capable of transmitting and moving as a human would.

All the wildlife has been photographed in its natural habitat and none of the animals have been mistreated or manipulated, but it has been days and days of work in order not to disturb the animals or interfere with their behaviour.

The names of each piece in this collection signify a month of the year written in Basque, a language that is on the point of disappearing and which very few people speak any more.

As you view the works in the collection, you will travel through all the seasons and the changes that landscapes experience throughout the year.All the photos are real, from real places, and have been taken with a lot of dedication, visiting the places several times, in different seasons and conditions, looking for the perfect photo.
